The core devs have been running simulations of PoC v11 on the network for the past two weeks and have identified 2 additional places for improvement:
1. First is a code update that has been merged but still requires an OTA update to Hotspots. This will be completed this week.
2. Second is a chain variable activation that allows the team to gather more data on transmit power. The team expects this to be activated early next week. Once activated, the data can be used to further inform PoC impact via simulations.
Because of these two pending actions, the core devs are going to push PoC v11 activation by 2 weeks.
This means the new PoC v11 activation date will be October 18, 2021.
